How to create prepaid subscriptions **Prepaid subscription **can allow the customers to pay for the following deliveries in advance. To set up this feature, you can go to the App >> Create subscription plan. There is a field of "**Bill every**" next to the "Delivery every". It is used to define the payment amount for each prepaid billing attampt. The **default number** in the "Bill every" is 1. It means the billing attempt of subscription payment will recur automatically each time when the next delivery is coming. One subscription payment is only for one product delivery. ![logo](https://appadmin.sealapps.com/uploads/2022/01/2022011455551015.png) If you want to set a **prepaid subscription**, you can choose the number of deliveries you wish the customers to pay for each time. **After each payment, Shopify will create a new order with unfulfilled and scheduled deliveries in your admin Orders.** ![logo](https://appadmin.sealapps.com/uploads/2022/01/2022011451515351.png) ![logo](https://appadmin.sealapps.com/uploads/2022/01/2022011499549910.png) ![logo](https://appadmin.sealapps.com/uploads/2022/01/2022011453499798.png) For example, if you choose 5 deliveries in the "Bill every", and the frequency of "Delivery every" is 1 month. Each time when the recurring payment comes, including the initial purchase, customers will pay for the next 5 deliveries together. And the frequency of billing attempt will be 5 months after the previous 5 deliveries completed. It should be noted that the prepaid deliveries cannot be stopped, but you can fulfull the scheduled item in the admin Orders manually. The "Skip next order" button cannot skip the scheduled deliveries, it can only skip the next billing attempt for subscription payment. Even the subscription is stopped/cancelled, the scheduled deliveries of prepaid subscription will not be stopped automatically untill all the deliveries have been completed. But you can edit the order, such as cancel, refund in the admin Orders manually.
